PSX loses 36.14 points to close at 44,887.77 points

PSX gains 156.09 points to close at 44,416.20 points


Islamabad: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) KSE 100 index showed a bullish trend on Thursday, rising 156.09 points, or 0.35%, to close at 44,416.20 points, compared with 44,260.11 points on the last working day.

A total of 243,084,335 shares were traded that day, compared with 271,113,356 shares the previous day’s trading volume, and the stock price was 103.41 billion rupees, compared with 81.56 billion rupees the previous day.

The stocks of 377 companies were listed and traded, of which 200 were profitable, 153 continued to lose money, and the stock prices of 24 companies remained unchanged.

The top three trading companies are K-Electric LTD with a trading volume of 22,927,500 shares at a price of Rs 3.45 per share, Treet Crop with a trading volume of 19,087,000 shares at a price of Rs 42.33 per share, and TRG Pak LTD with a volume of 17,707,469 shares at a price of Rs 125.01 per share .

Sapphire Tex’s highest increase was 74.80 rupees per share and closed at 1072.80 rupees, while the runner-up was Sapphire Fiber, whose stock price rose 57.00 rupees to 972.00 rupees.

Colgate Palm’s biggest drop was 117.99 rupees and its closing price was 2277.01 rupees, followed by Rafhan Maize, whose share price fell 100.00 rupees to close at 9400.00 rupees.
