Karachi: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the preparations for the long march are in full swing and the PDM s long march will be held as per the schedule on March 23.
Controversial bills are always sent to parliament’s steering committee, Fazlur Rehman told a news conference in Karachi. The opposition will not be targeted.
He went on to say that the meeting did not convene government counterparts. Politicians will not be notified on a previous basis in order to pass any bills in the government. There were no consultations on the National Bank Bill.
PDM chief mentioned that the presidential system of government is the system of dictators. When the constitution of the country is under practice, the presidential system could not be beneficial for the country. No experiments should be done on the country s governance system and the country was broken due to the same system.
Talking about the soldiarity with Kashmir, Maulana said that we ourselves gave Kashmir to India. The world should take an initiative on solving this issue. The government of Kashmir should not expect anything from Pakistan government.
Maurana further said that the JUI will be in solidarity with Kashmiris on February 5.
