Lahore: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is holding tractor trolley marches across the country to support farmers.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will lead the march in Hyderabad, where a large number of farmers and party members have gathered at Fattah Chowk.
Meanwhile, farmers from other regions such as Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan also took to the streets to protest against the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) government.
Responding to the march, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said the protest march was part of a political movement. On the one hand, the PPP is protesting, and on the other hand, the same party is fueling inflation in the country.
Wheat is supplied to Sindh from the centre’s reserves if there are not enough stocks of the commodity in Sindh, and the governor of Sindh said that rising flour prices will affect the poor the most.
