PML-N leader slams Govt for bulldozing bill

ISLAMABAD: Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday while lashing out at the government said that the government bulldozed the parliament to get the Finance (Supplementary) Bill 2021 passed and this step will prove devastating for the country.

Taking a jibe at the government, PML-N senior leader and former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that if prime minister and ministers start lying then this happens what is happening.

Abbasi said that the SBP (Amendment) Bill-2022 is not in favor of Pakistan’s sovereignty.

He asked why the government is not buying LNG if the country is facing a gas shortage.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Pakistan has the cheapest LNG terminals in the world and asked the government if any LNG terminals had been installed in the past 3 years.
