ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will issue interest-free loans today (Wednesday) to people from low-income groups under the Kamyab Pakistan scheme.
According to sources, the launch ceremony will take place at the Faisal Mosque.
Under the Kamyab Pakistan Plan – an integral part of the Prime Minister’s Vision for Poverty Alleviation – loans worth Rs 40,700 crore will be issued over the next two years to youth, women, farmers and to build low-income housing.
Over the next two years, the government will provide 56 billion rupees in subsidies for this. The main objective of the Kamyab Pakistan program is to provide relief to low-income groups and boost economic growth.
