ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Sunday arrived in the United Arab Emirates to express condolence on the demise of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Prime Minister has arrived in the UAE from London.
The prime minister will express condolences with newly elected UAE President Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan.
In solidarity with the fraternal people of the UAE, the Pakistani government has announced three days of national mourning from 13 to 15 May 2022, while the flag will be flown at half-staff.
Earlier, the Prime Minister took to his Twitter to express his deep sadness and grief over the passing of Sheikh Khalifa and said the UAE has lost a visionary leader and a great friend Pakistan.
