PM Imran to leave for Uzbekistan on two-day official visit today

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for Uzbekistan on a two-day official visit today (Thursday) on the invitation of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi and other cabinet members.

A large number of major Pakistani businessmen will also accompany the Prime Minister to attend.

During the visit, Imran Khan will discuss bilateral cooperation in a meeting with Uzbek leaders. During the meeting, trade, economic cooperation and issues of common concern will also be discussed.

In addition, the two parties will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen bilateral cooperation. PM Imran will also speak at the Pak-Uzbek Business Forum.
