Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has reconvened the meeting of the National Coordination Committee (NCC) and will meet today (Thursday). During the meeting, measures are discussed to respond to a coronavirus pandemic.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the meeting and prime ministers from all provinces, federal ministers, senior military officials and the NDMA president will attend the meeting.
At the last meeting of the National Coordination Commission last Wednesday, after April 5, a final decision was made to ease the country’s embargo.
Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa also attended the meeting, which reviewed the current coronavirus pandemic in the country. The meeting was also briefed on measures taken by federal and state governments to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
