Islamabad: On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan instructed to use all options to bring back Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister and top leader of PML-N, from London, who had traveled to London for treatment.
Prime Minister Imran’s comments were made at a meeting in the parliament building. Leaders of the party, federal ministers and some speakers attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the prime minister vowed not to succumb to the blackmail of the opposition parties for legislation related to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). He also suggested not to engage in any conditional dialogue with the opposition parties on FATF legislation.
He said: “The opposition will not harm national interests.”
The Prime Minister was informed of the progress in legislative affairs so far, and his legal team has proposed various options in this regard.
