PM directs to mobilize party workers to ensure success in second phase LG polls


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday instructed elected representatives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to step up a mass engagement campaign.

He said this during a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmoud Khan and the different PTI MPAs who visited him in Islamabad on Monday.

Communications Minister Murad Saeed, members of the National Assembly Haider Ali Khan, Saleem Rehman, Sahibzada Sibghatullah, Mehboob Shah, Muhammad Bashir Khan, Junaid Akbar, Muhammad Nawaz Khan, Saleh Muhammad, Nazir Ahmad Abbasi, Haji Qalandar Khan Lodhi, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, Zubair Khan , Taj Mohammad, Wazirzada, Mohammad Azam Khan, Humayun Khan, Liaquat Ali Khan, Shafiullah, Mohammad Deedar Khan, Abdul Ghaffar, Syed Iqbal Mian, Shakeel Ahmed, Pir Masoor Khan, Syed Ahmed Hussain Shah, Babar Saleem Swati, Nawabzada Farid Salahuddin, The meeting was attended by Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Syed Ghazi Ghazan Jamal, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, Naseerullah Khan, Sharafat Ali, Azizullah Khan, Fazal Hakim Khan Yousafzai, Amjad Ali and Mohibullah Khan.

The meeting discussed the overall political situation in the province, ongoing development plans and issues related to party organizations.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister instructed all elected representatives to strengthen mass engagement campaigns and mobilized party staff to ensure the success of the upcoming second phase of local body elections in the province.
