ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved provision of natural gas discovered from former tribal areas, to the people immediately.
During a meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed about the gas reserves discovered form North Waziristan and Bannu. He directed to utilize these gas reserves to get rid people of its shortage.
The Prime Minister was also briefed on the general situation of the natural gas industry and the supply and demand of natural gas in the country.
The Minister of State for Petroleum, Senator Dr. Mousadiq Malik and the Minister of Petroleum also attended the meeting.
