Karachi: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced on Saturday the resumption of direct flights to Saudi Arabia after Saudi Arabia eased restrictions related to the coronavirus.
According to the timetable issued by the flag carrier, PIA will operate 35 flights for Saudi Arabia within a week.
However, the spokesperson made it clear that according to Saudi law, departing passengers must comply with the 5-day quarantine requirement.
He added that at the same time, the decision to increase the number of flights will be made based on the needs of passengers.
It is worth mentioning here that from December 1st, in addition to allowing Umrah pilgrims from the country, Saudi Arabia also allows passengers from Pakistan and many other countries to enter directly.
