Pakistan’s coronavirus cases reach 32,081 with 706 deaths

Since the government ordered the relaxation of the blockade to curb the spread of coronavirus, the Pakistani government has opened more businesses, and the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan has reached 32,081.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), Pakistan recorded another 1,140 COVID-19 cases and 39 deaths, bringing the county-wide total to 32,081 cases, of which 706 deaths were attributed to respiratory diseases.

So far, Pakistan has conducted 305,851 coronavirus tests and 10,957 tests in the past 24 hours. The quarantine centers of 462 hospitals are providing treatment for patients, where 7,295 beds can be provided.

Province-wise Details 


Punjab and Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

11,869 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 12,017 in Sindh, 4,875 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,061 in Balochistan, 716 in Islamabad, 457 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 86 in Azad Kashmir. 


Recoveries 


8,555 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas many are in critical condition.
