Islamabad: Pakistan strongly condemned an “inhumane terrorist attack” outside an education center in the Dasht-Balchi district of Kabul on Saturday, which killed innocent lives, including children, and injured many others.

In a statement, Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said, “We extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims and pray for early recovery of those injured.

He insisted that Pakistan condemns all forms and manifestations of terrorism and will continue to support a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.

Officials said that earlier today, a suicide bombing in an education center in the Afghan capital Kabul killed at least 13 people and injured dozens of others.

Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior, cited the identity of the security guards and pointed out that a bomber detonated explosives on the street outside the Kawsar-e Education Center in Denmark.

Saeed Jami, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, said that 13 bodies have been found and 30 injured people have been transported to the hospital by ambulance. He added that the number of casualties may rise.
