Pakistan reports lowest number of new COVID-19 cases in over a month

Lahore: As positive cases surged to 261,917, Pakistan has confirmed 47 new coronavirus deaths within a day. The total number of deaths across the country jumped to 5,522.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 1,918 people were tested positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours.

Provincial details

In terms of cases, Sindh remains the province most affected by the pandemic, followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
