Pakistan reports 89 COVID-19 cases, one death in 24 hours

Lahore: Pakistan has reported one death from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours as the number of positive cases rose to 1,529,558. The national death toll had jumped to 30,379 on Thursday.

At least 89 people across the country have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the latest data from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Pakistan has conducted 17,343 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 89 people have tested positive for the disease. The COVID positivity rate was recorded at 0.51%.
