Lahore: Pakistan has reported two deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, with the number of confirmed positive cases soaring to 1,531,037. The national death toll jumped to 30,381 on Friday.
At least 72 people across the country have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the latest data from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Pakistan has conducted 15,129 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 72 people have tested positive for the disease. The COVID positivity rate was recorded at 0.48%.
