Pakistan reports 70 COVID-19 cases, no death in 24 hours


Lahore: Pakistan has reported no deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours as the number of positive cases has risen to 1,529,709. The national death toll stood at 30,379 on Saturday.

At least 70 people across the country have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the latest data from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Pakistan has conducted 18,773 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 70 people have tested positive for the disease. The COVID positivity rate was recorded at 0.37%.
