Pakistan reports 571 coronavirus cases, 6 deaths in 24 hours

Lahore: Pakistan reported six deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, as the number of positive cases surged to 1,518,083. The national death toll had jumped to 30,304 on Saturday.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 571 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Province details

Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 13,536 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 8,091 in Sindh, 6,299 in KP, 1,020 in Islamabad, 790 in Azad Kashmir, 377 in Balochistan and 191 in GB.

Furthermore 571,548 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 503,590 in Punjab, 217,936 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 134,797 in Islamabad, 43,163 in Azad Kashmir, 35,429 in Balochistan and 11,620 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan has conducted 26,862,188 coronavirus tests so far, 36,885 in the past 24 hours. 1,469,930 patients have recovered in the country, while 641 are in critical condition.
