Pakistan reports 515 coronavirus cases, 6 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: Pakistan has reported 6 deaths from the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and the number of confirmed cases has soared to 1,295,376. On Friday, the national death toll jumped to 28,927.

According to the latest data released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), in the past 24 hours, 515 people have tested positive for COVID-19.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

481,689 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 444,977 in Punjab, 181,370 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 108,618 in Islamabad, 34,660 in Azad Kashmir, 33,633 in Balochistan and 10,429 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 23,372,405 coronavirus tests and 47,856 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 1,256,337 patients, while 633 patients are in critical condition.
