Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 1,008,446, Pakistan has reported 32 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. On Monday, the national death toll jumped to 23,048.
According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,752 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Details of each province
In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 10,944 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,833 in Sindh, 4,420 in KP, 793 in Islamabad, 610 in Azad Kashmir, 325 in Balochistan, and 123 in GB.
Furthermore 367,092 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 353,238 in Punjab, 141,925 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 85,780 in Islamabad, 29,571 in Balochistan, 23,093 in Azad Kashmir and 7,747 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
To date, Pakistan has performed 15,717,061 coronavirus tests and 49,947 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 927,599 patients and 2,677 patients are in critical condition.
