Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 1,043,277, Pakistan has reported 67 deaths from the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours. On Tuesday, the national death toll jumped to 23,529.
According to the latest data released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,582 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Details of each province
In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 11,083 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,057 in Sindh, 4,477 in KP, 804 in Islamabad, 633 in Azad Kashmir, 328 in Balochistan, and 147 in GB.
Furthermore, 387,261 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 358,387 in Punjab, 145,306 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 88,344 in Islamabad, 30,627 in Balochistan, 25,034 in Azad Kashmir and 8,318 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
To date, Pakistan has conducted 16,158,330 coronavirus tests and 49,798 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 944,375 patients, while 3,398 patients are in critical condition.
