Pakistan reports 358 coronavirus cases, 2 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 1,293,440, Pakistan has reported 2 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The death toll across the country jumped to 28,907 on Sunday.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 358 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 13,063 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,661 in Sindh 5,922 in KP, 966 in Islamabad, 746 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB.

Furthermore 480,525 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 444,553 in Punjab 181,204 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 108,450 in Islamabad, 34,655 in Azad Kashmir 33,624 in Balochistan and 10,429 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 23,148,807 coronavirus tests and 52,050 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has 1,254,85 ​​patients recovered and 631 patients are in critical condition.
