Pakistan reports 3,221 coronavirus cases, 95 deaths in 24 hours

Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 1,105,300, Pakistan has reported 95 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. On Tuesday, the national death toll jumped to 24,573.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,221 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,412 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,475 in Sindh, 4,679 in KP, 837 in Islamabad, 669 in Azad Kashmir, 335 in Balochistan, and 166 in GB.

Furthermore 413,379 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 373,718 in Punjab, 153,134 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 94,402 in Islamabad, 31,632 in Balochistan, 29,593 in Azad Kashmir and 9,442 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has performed 16,950,196 coronavirus tests and 48,181 tests have been performed in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 993,304 patients and 4,896 patients are in critical condition.
