Pakistan reports 322 coronavirus cases, 4 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: Pakistan has reported 4 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and the number of confirmed cases has soared to 1,292,728. The death toll across the country jumped to 28,898 on Friday.

According to the latest data released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 322 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

480,077 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 444,438 in Punjab, 181,121 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 108,392 in Islamabad, 34,654 in Azad Kashmir, 33,617 in Balochistan and 10,429 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 23,048,609 coronavirus tests and 47,811 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 1,254,301 patients and 652 patients are in critical condition.
