Pakistan reports 313 coronavirus cases, 9 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: Pakistan has reported 9 deaths from the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and the number of confirmed cases has soared to 1,288 and 366. The national death toll has jumped to 28,812 on Thursday.

According to the latest data released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 313 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

477,466 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 443,747 in Punjab, 180,564 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 108,042 in Islamabad, 34,600 in Azad Kashmir, 33,522 in Balochistan and 10,425 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 22,428,325 coronavirus tests and 42,978 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 1,250,069 patients and 758 patients are in critical condition.
