Pakistan reports 310 coronavirus cases, 9 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: As the number of positive cases surged to 1,287,703, Pakistan has reported 9 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The death toll across the country jumped to 28,793 on Wednesday.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 310 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

So far, 13,044 people have died from the epidemic in Punjab, 7,630 in Sindh, 5,868 in KP, 961 in Islamabad, 742 in Azad Kashmir, 362 in Balochistan, and 186 in the UK .

In addition, Sindh has confirmed 477,119 coronavirus cases, Punjab has confirmed 443,610 cases, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has confirmed 180,471 cases, Islamabad has confirmed 107,989 cases, and Azad Kashmir has confirmed 34,586 cases. 33,514 cases have been confirmed in Luzhi Province and 10,414 cases have been confirmed in Kyrgyzstan Province.

Test and restore

To date, Pakistan has conducted 22,338,650 coronavirus tests and 43,503 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 1,247,066 patients and 783 patients are in critical condition.
