Pakistan reports 310 coronavirus cases, 10 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 1,292,047, Pakistan has reported 10 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The death toll across the country jumped to 28,892 on Wednesday.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 310 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 13,060 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,658 in Sindh 5,915 in KP, 964 in Islamabad, 746 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB.

Furthermore 479,664 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 444,320 in Punjab 181,053 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 108,329 in Islamabad, 34,646 in Azad Kashmir 33,606 in Balochistan and 10,429 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 22,954,234 coronavirus tests and 46,991 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 1,253,594 patients and 645 patients are in critical condition.
