Pakistan reports 251 coronavirus cases, two deaths in 24 hours

Lahore: Pakistan has reported four deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours as the number of confirmed positive cases surged to 1,569,788. The national death toll had jumped to 30,588 on Saturday.

At least 251 people across the country have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the latest data from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Pakistan has conducted 17,207 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 251 people have tested positive for the disease. The COVID positivity rate was recorded at 1.46%.
