Lahore: Pakistan reported 33 more deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours as confirmed positive cases surged to 1,496,693. The national death toll jumped to 29,950 on Friday.
According to the latest data released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 2,400 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Pakistan has conducted 48,744 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 2,400 people have tested positive for the disease. The COVID positivity rate was recorded at 4.92%.
