Lahore: Pakistan reported one death from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, as the number of confirmed positive cases surged to 1,570,854. The national death toll had jumped to 30,599 on Saturday.
At least 156 people across the country have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the latest data from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Pakistan has conducted 17,200 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 156 people have tested positive for the disease. The COVID positivity rate was recorded at 0.91%.
