Pakistan receives 15m Covid-19 vaccine doses from ADB

Islamabad: Pakistan has received 15 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

According to details, 15 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine funded by the ADB have been by Islamabad. The doses are meant to help Pakistan in its fight against the pandemic.

On the other hand, Pakistan has reported 2 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,293,715. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,909 on Monday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 301 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

So far, 13,064 people have died from the epidemic in Punjab, 7,662 in Sindh, 5,922 in KP, 966 in Islamabad, 746 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in the UK .
