Sialkot: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Saturday Pakistan has already defaulted and we are living in a bankrupt country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Khawaja Asif said that the solution to Pakistan’s problems lies within and that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cannot do anything about it. The minister blamed the establishment, bureaucracy and politicians for the state of the country and said Pakistan’s constitution had been repeatedly violated.
The PML-N leader said that 1.5 years ago, terrorists were allowed to settle in the country and played dangerous games while critics were forced to leave the country. However, he praised security forces for repelling the terrorist attack at the Karachi police station, saying security personnel fought the terrorists bravely throughout the night.
