ISLAMABAD: Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said there should be no speculation about whether Pakistan will be greylisted by the FATF.
She said in a tweet on Friday that a statement from the FATF meeting in Germany will be released tonight, with details to be released by the foreign ministry tomorrow.
On the other hand, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Har also said that prejudging the outcome of the FATF plenary meeting and speculative reporting in this regard should be avoided.
The FATF plenary meeting will continue in Berlin, Germany, and the FATF will make a public statement after tonight’s meeting, she said in a tweet on Friday.
The Minister of State said there will also be a media briefing on the issue tomorrow morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.
