Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has approved a reduction of 26 paisa per unit in power tariff on account of fuel cost adjustment for July 2021.
According to a notice issued by NEPRA on Monday, due to the monthly fuel adjustment in May, each unit of electricity has been reduced by 26 paisa, and consumers will receive a reduction in electricity bills in July.
According to the decision issued by NEPRA, the decision to reduce electricity prices does not apply to lifeline and agricultural consumers, nor does it apply to K-Electric consumers.
