Islamabad: Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said on Wednesday that the government is expected to bring back the top leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from London by January 15, 2021. Nawaz Sharif.

Fawad Chowdhury said that British government officials also believed that predators from developing countries caused slander on their country.

He insisted that the court had convicted Nawaz Sharif and hoped that the British government would make a ruling on the PML-N leader as soon as possible.

Earlier today, the federal government has sought the approval of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to publish a subpoena of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in two London newspapers.

The IHC had heard the case related to summoning Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia and Avenfield Reference. Tariq Khokhar on behalf of the federal government had submitted a plea in the Registrar Office, seeking permission to publish the advertisement in the two London-based newspapers too.
