ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz said on Thursday that members of parliament are ready to move a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
Talking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC), the PML-N leader said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is shaking. She advised Prime Minister Imran to wear a helmet when meeting with the public.
She added that the state is aware of all the ineffective steps of this government.
Maryam Nawaz further stated that Imran Khan’s speech showed how confused and frightened he was. She said the PML-N always triumphed in every challenge.
Earlier in the day, Maryam Nawaz appeared before IHC for a hearing on her sentencing in the Avenfield case.
During the proceedings, Maryam Nawaz’s lawyer, Irfan Qadir, argued how the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitted the references without conducting any investigation.
Justice Amir said we need to first analyze whether there is sufficient evidence or testimony against the accused.
