ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast that remote areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Potohar Region and Upper Punjab will experience a storm.
Mainly dry weather is expected in the rest of the country for the next 24 hours.
Depending on the weather, a shallow westerly wave may affect the western/upper parts of the country starting today and may persist in the upper areas for the next few days.
Much of the country has seen hot, dry weather over the past 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature recorded for the tin ratio reached 48 °C.
