Karachi: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast light rainfall in Karachi on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts that Iran will enter the new west wind from Pakistan from May 12 to 16.
The Meteorological Department said it expected a small amount of rain in Karachi on Thursday and Wednesday, and the city had no chance of heat waves.
The MET office also predicted rainfall in Baluchistan province, Sukkur, Larkana and Nawabshah.
It said that thunderstorms are expected in the upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Balstan and Kashmir.
It must be pointed out that with mercury reaching 41 degrees Celsius, Karachi people experienced a moderate heat wave last week.
Sardar Sarfraz said in a previous statement: “The PMD predicts that a heat wave will occur in Karachi and its suburbs from May 5 to 8, 2020, and the maximum temperature may rise to 40-42C. During the nights of these days, the wind usually falls from Northwest / West turns to Southwest. “
