Met Office predicts hot and dry weather in most parts of country

Mainly hot, humid weather likely to prevail in most parts of country

Islamabad: Mainly hot and humid weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, thunderstorms are possible in some parts of Kashmir and adjacent areas.

Temperatures recorded in some major cities this morning:

Islamabad was 25 degrees, Muri and Gilgit 17, Lahore 29, Karachi 28, Peshawar 27, Quetta 20 and Muzaffarabad 22.

According to the UK Met Office forecast for India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu, Pulwama and Shupian are forecast to be partly cloudy with possible rain, wind and thunderstorms, while Srinagar, Leh, Anantnagar are forecast to be partly cloudy. Partly cloudy and Baramura.

Temperatures recorded this morning:

Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla are seventeen degrees Celsius, Jammu twenty-four degrees, Leh twelve degrees, and Anantnag and Shopian sixteen degrees.
