Lahore: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday suspended the notice of the Punjab caretaker government and restored Gujarat as a partition and Wazirabad as a district.
Judge Shahid Karim, while hearing the petition, issued notice and suspended notice to the caretaker government and the other defendants.
The caretaker government has suspended notifications for the creation of new Gujarat administrative districts, Murree, Wazirabad, Tharagang and Kot Addu districts, as well as Jalalpurjatan and Kunjat Hills, Until the province holds a general election.
