Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) extended the pre-arrest bail period of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shibaz Sharif to July 16 on Tuesday.
According to the details, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) accepted Shehbaz Sharif’s request for immunity from court proceedings when hearing cases where assets were beyond capacity.
At the hearing, the court asked why Shehbaz Sharif did not appear in court despite the negative test for the new coronavirus. The lawyer of the opposition leader told the court that, according to medical experts, if a person tests negative twice, he is considered to have recovered completely from the virus. Despite the negative test result, Sheikh Baz Sharif still showed symptoms of the disease.
After hearing the detailed arguments of Attorney Shehbaz Sharif, the court extended the bail period to July 16.
