DASKA: Representatives of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Hakan Abasi accused the government of stealing Daskar’s polls.
Speaking of the investigation report, he mentioned that the details of the fact-finding were not shared publicly, and the perpetrators have not been held accountable.
The former prime minister stated that the Deputy Commissioner Colleges Sialkot arranged to meet with all officials presiding over the meeting and instructed them to conduct irregularities. He said that the polling station was expected to close at 4:30 pm, and the police did not close the polling station in time.
In addition, he added that competition for fair elections is not the responsibility of the government, and the prime minister should resign for stealing votes.
“The country would prosper if it abides by the constitution. PTI cannot establish its government with the public’s votes. The back-breaking inflation is the result of vote rigging on 2018,” he said.
The PML-N s representative stated that the culprits must be held accountable following the direction of constitution’s article 6. He went on to say that the police and education department both were involved in stealing votes.
He said that the 135-page investigative committee report should be shared publicly. Shahid Khaqan mentioned that during the Daska by-election duty time, a female host was also abused and kept in an unknown place.
