Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) supreme leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said allies should have confidence in the PTI’s long march and should let Asif Ali Zardari make every decision.
Sources briefed on the development said the PML-N held a key consultative meeting to discuss the political situation in the country, the PTI’s long march and early elections. Nawaz Sharif also participated in the consultations via a video link from London, the sources said.
During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif suggested that a major decision should be made if the government does not receive a public relief package from the International Monetary Fund, the source added.
Nawaz sneered at Imran Khan, saying that the noise of the Long March was to influence negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
