After three days of rain, the Met Office has forecast a drop in Karachi’s temperature starting Friday night.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the mercury will dip below eight degrees Celsius after sunset, while the temperature in the day is expected to stay near 20 degrees Celsius.
Chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz warned that this intense cold will continue until January 16. He added that after that, another westerly wind may enter Sindh from Balochistan.
However, Karachi no longer has a chance of rain.
Earlier, Safaraz said that this winter will last more than 1.5 months and will intensify in January.
