Karachi sees record 42.6 degrees temperature, hottest in 62 years

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department said in a statement on Friday that today is the hottest day in 62 years.

PMD added that Karachi’s last recorded temperature was 42.2°C on July 3, 1958.

The Metropolitan Office further stated that according to its 30-year record, the average temperature in July was 33.3°C.
