Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted on Saturday that Karachi might encounter a slight heat wave on the 17th.
The Metropolitan Ministry said the temperature is expected to be between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius.
Regarding today’s weather forecast, PMD said that during the day, the mercury content in port cities can reach 38 degrees Celsius, and the humidity in the air this afternoon is 58%.
Karachi experienced its first heat wave in 2020 from May 5 to 8.
At the same time, in the next twenty-four hours, most of the country may experience mainly hot and dry weather.
However, high winds and thunderstorms are expected in the Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir regions.
