ISLAMABAD: A joint meeting of parliaments will be held at the Islamabad Parliament House today at 4pm.
According to the published agenda, amendments to the 2017 Electoral Act and amendments to the 1999 NAB Act will be tabled at the joint meeting.
It is worth mentioning that the Electoral Amendment Act and the NAB Act 1999 amendments have been passed by the National Assembly and Senate, but President Arif Alvi has sent them back to Prime Minister Sheikh Baz Sharif for reconsideration. Election amendments will be approved at the joint meeting.
On the other hand, regarding the bill to establish the National Information Technology Committee, the Parental Protection Bill will be tabled in the joint session and also in the joint session of Parliament.
