Iran may accept EU proposal to revive nuclear deal if demands are met, IRNA reports

DUBAI, Aug. 12: The European Union’s proposal to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal “is acceptable if it can guarantee” Tehran’s key demands, state news agency IRNA quoted a senior Iranian diplomat as saying on Friday.

The European Union said on Monday it had come up with a “final” text after four days of indirect talks between U.S. and Iranian officials in Vienna. read more

A senior EU official said the text, which had been negotiated for 15 months, could no longer be revised. He said he expected the parties to make a final decision in “very, very weeks”.
