Infinix launched Infinix Zero 8i together with Pakistan’s Zero 8. The price of the new smart phone is cheaper than the former, but it will not harm the 90Hz display, 48MP camera and other specifications.
The Zero 8i has similar gem cutting design, specifications, and storage methods, but the front and rear cameras are different. To be precise, it has a 6.85-inch FHD+ display, similar to Zero8. It also retains 180Hz touch sampling and 90Hz refresh rate, which is the first time on Infinix devices. Under the hood, Mediatek Helio G90T powers the Zero 8i. Like Zero Zero 8, it is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and it also has a MicroSD slot for expansion. However, the difference lies in the camera.
The Infinix Zero 8i houses a 48MP instead of 64MP as the main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide, two 2MP depth and AI lenses, and an LED flash. On the front, the pill-shaped punch-hole features a 16MP instead of 48MP as the main sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens for selfies. All this is backed up by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Other features include 10-layer heat dissipation cooling material, TUV Rheinland certification for high-performance gaming, Smart Turbo V1.0 acceleration engine.
The Infinix Zero 8i runs on Android 10 with XOS 7 UI on top. It comes in Black Diamond, Green Diamond, and Silver Diamond color options. The single 8GB RAM, 128GB storage is priced at Rs 34,999 compared to Rs 39,999 for Zero 8. Pre-orders will begin from October 11, and the device will be sold from October 15.
